I stopped playing CSGO and switched to Valorant because it was just too stressful. You can play ANY valorant map in unrated mode, you should be able to play any CSGO map in scrimmage mode.

Their should be individual ranks for every map. Think about it. Is someone really global Elite if all they play is 2 maps all the time?

I used to be Supreme, but I haven't played CSGO in years, so now if I return to the game I'd rather have some practice in unranked, get used to the changes etc. Rather than ending up in gold nova. So, did they really add unranked competitive?

My Question is that if i'll play One Scrimmage mod Per Month, would i get unranked or my Matchmaking rank stays?

Yay no more faceit/community 5v5 for practice and for those moments you want to be serious playing csgo but not that serious to play ranked.

As someone (still) unranked for Matchmaker and who sucks a lot, Scrimmage mode is awesome. In spite of being unranked, the system for some reason has decided I'm a good fit for a bunch of good players. But I suck so much it brings down the entire team and we can't win... and you can't become ranked until there's 10 wins. But with Scrimmage I work on skills in DM and Casual then run some scrims to see if I"m ready for the competitive gauntlet. Spoiler: So far I'm not ready, lol. TL/DR: ranking system sucks at ranking even more than I suck at CSGO.

If they want to make mid on vertiigo better they need to push cts back and t's forward. At current cts can push all the way to ladder before the T's. This makes it difficult, if not near impossible for T's to take mid.

I love the 3 scrimmage maps, they should be competitive. What they should have done is just have all the comp/scrimmage maps in both categories! Id love to play comp seaside!

I don't know why you're so excited for scrimmage; it's literally made the game worse than before (who'd have thought it was possible). Now you actually have a game mode for underhanded pricks to abuse lower-ranked players legitimately because they're worthless at their own level. This is a good thing somehow?

FINALLY UNRANKED MATCHMAKING !!! God damn have I been waiting for this for so long. It was one of the reasons I stopped playing CSGO. As you said, unranked allows player to try new maps and to play with friends of all ranks, but the most important thing for me is it allows people to play without stress and enjoy the game. If you're always worrying about rank, you're always putting psychological pressure on yourself to play better, and your emotions can swing very easily. This will allow a more casual and fun type of play from time to time.

With rotation: tell us what will be the next few maps so we can learn those maps on Scrimmage before?

Am I the only one who thinks unranked mm is a dumb idea? The only real effect is that we'll get longer queue times. There's no point in having unranked games, people just need to unbunch their panties and realize that rank doesn't matter. You can just play whatever map you want to play and if you rank down big whoop you'll just have easier opponents for a while. It's like everyone deludes themselves into thinking rank is something it isn't. The only thing it is, is a system for matching you against players of roughly equal skill. If you rely on your teammates to win it's working as intended and you do not "deserve" a higher rank. In fact nobody deserves anything in this system. You get the rank you get, that is your "real" rank and that's all. People who claim they're silver but play like a DMG are full of shit. If you played like a DMG you wouldn't be stuck in silver.

I super like the idea of moving maps out of Active Duty into Scrimmage more frequently. I love a lot of the maps that get removed, like Zoo et al, and it makes me sad that I can't play those without running my own server.
