imo, valorant is just a new fps game, it shouldn’t be compared to a game that has been played for years, a game that has been a part of history, even if valorant could be possibly better than csgo, it doesn’t change the fact that it made and united a community, that billions of people got the best memories they have had playing it with their friends, as someone who played csgo until it was released (way back in source) it has probably changed my life so much, just thinking if i didn’t play this game in my first computer, it would have changed my life a lot, changed paths, and probably have less friends. With new fps games coming around, having better concepts than csgo, again, it will never surpass csgo and it’s legacy.

Is it a Counter-Strike killer? No. Is it a CS:GO killer? Yes.

I'm just hoping there's balance in the game and no hard counters between characters like in League or Overwatch. I've never been to fond of the idea of a hero/champion based competitive games and the lack of such things in CS:GO is probably why it's been around so long. The only thing that can be unbalanced in a CS:GO game is the skill levels of each individual PLAYER and not the character they chose to pick. Oh and the SG.... that poop is kinda broken

There is no way they can tackle hackers while industry leaders still fail in this regard. I refuse to believe it's just laziness. If a company could control hacking, they would have by now...why? Because just as RIOT is doing here, eliminating hackers would be a huge selling point. The crux? It's just not possible to pull it off

As a guy who doesn't really like CS and REALLY likes Overwatch, this game looks pretty interesting. Maybe Project A will be able to give me the parts of CS that I actually like, and the abilities look pretty neat. I don't know though, we'll have to see.

Game looks alright but the anti-cheat guff... nobody has made a solution for hackers that works correctly yet. I've encountered hackers in pretty much any online shooter with a decent population. If Project A somehow discover the holy grail of anti cheats, I'd be highly surprised and hope it becomes industry standard. Until then, not holding my breath.

@nickz- I get matched with CIS players all the time and they are literally the same as any other nationality. Tbh I have encountered more fellow brits and French people who are toxic than people from the CIS region.

@Greeze its because Croatia players are connected to east srw so pretty much i'm getting queued with CIS players...i'm not saying all of them are toxic but most of them are...I don't say project A will 100% be better but, as i said, i'm optimistic, we will see how will riot deal with problems in community...
